Food should never be a barrier to belonging. These programs offer free meals, cooking skills, and emergency food support to any family in Thunder Bay who needs them. No judgment. No income test. Just food, community, and a warm space to share it.

Community Kitchen for Families
Adults with or without children

Cook a big, healthy meal together — and bring it home for your family. Every week, participants choose the menu, cook in large quantities, and leave with food for the whole household. A nutrition facilitator and peer leaders guide the session. ECEs care for children on-site. This program builds cooking confidence and community connections at the same time.
